Dr. Tabinda Sarosh has been appointed CEO of Pathfinder International. Pathfinder International is a global non-profit organization focusing on sexual and reproductive health for women and young people.

“We are excited to welcome her into this leadership role. Dr. Sarosh has served in leadership roles with Pathfinder for almost a decade, including most recently as Interim CEO. She brings continuity to the leadership of the organization at a critical time. With more than two decades of experience as a leader, clinician, and advocate in the development and humanitarian sectors, she offers exceptional strategic insight and a deep commitment to advancing sexual and reproductive health and rights and women's rights,” says Oumar Onyango the Snr Advisor, Research & Strategic Communications for Africa.

Dr. Tabinda earned a Bachelor of Medicine, and Bachelor of Surgery from Dow Medical College followed by a post-graduate in nutrition, allowing her to apply her clinical knowledge of reproductive health to develop numerous public health and advocacy programs. She grew up in Southeast Asia in a multi-country environment.  She carries an international spirit and diplomacy through her leadership skills that she honed throughout her educational and professional career.

The new CEO comes into an organization that has moved its strategy towards focusing on country-led, context-based programs. Previously they applied a one-size-fits-all approach for all countries. Her experience will come in handy to push the strategy more efficiently.
